Cadence & Matter by relinquencer

Cadence & Matter was a one man (and two guitars) project I worked on in my early adulthood. I originally had plans to add more percussion to many of the tracks but I didn't really create an opportunity for it, as many of the songs have loose measurements and choppily woven guitar riffs.

I think the 4 tracks on this EP best illustrate what the project was set out to be: A diary of a kid falling in and out of love for the first time; learning to identify with their own extent of independent thought and creativity, art and philosophy, and social psychology; plus, a reaction to the deterioration of information (and its systems) at the turn of the millennium.
