Fighting shouting forcefully demanding
The universe is constantly expanding
Notwithstanding understanding

I don’t know
Epiphany might come at last, I’ve studied hard
Of volumes writ in books amassed
It’s lost up on the highest shelf I’ll see if I can look it up
I’m looking up. I’m looking up

Reading what the people all are ranting
Preaching praying hoping kneeling standing
The Universe is constantly expanding
Notwithstanding understanding

In a million years
We won’t excuse the pain we’ve caused with all our greed
The constant need for having more
We have it all we see it all
but why then do I feel so like a
wishing well. I’m wishing well

Wishing when we know we could be granting
Starving for whatever strikes our fancy
We’ll find that things are constantly demanding
