Among the trees in the valley of dreams,
Your pearlescent hair and your haphazard seams,
Traveling by the stars in the sky,
Lost among the glaze on your eyes,
Constellations set the scene,
As the daylight moves out and the tide moves on in,
Drowning the bliss of the days gone by,
Replacing the laughter with foreboding sighs,

The Wrath and his minions form a line,
You look on with tears in your eyes,
You understand that there's no other way,
The end of the world has come today,
Just when I think that the end is near,
I hear God whispering in my ear,
I circle down and I take your hand,
And I fly you away from this forsaken land,

The mountains and valleys are bathed in the light,
You and I watch from our place in the sky,
The seas and the clouds and the wind and the trees,
Settle at last, as he falls to his knees,
The Wrath looks on, as God takes his hand,
And leads him to the Lake of Fire at last,
A seldom tear falls from his eye,
As God forgives him, and tells him goodbye.
