Marko Marinic is a composer and storyteller living and working in Vancouver, British Columbia, the unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
Music and stories have always gone hand-in-hand for Marko. Whether he’s making concert music or concept albums, Marko aims to weave characterful melodies, fantastical harmonies, and grooving rhythms together to build worlds through sound. Marko’s music has been featured by ensembles such as the Tempest Flute Ensemble, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Standing Wave Ensemble, and Turning Point Ensemble.
When he isn’t composing, Marko can be found reading old paperbacks, playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends, and trying to figure out how his espresso machine works.
