"Summer might be approaching for some, but the cold is descending upon the Southern Hemisphere, so it is all too fitting that today's upload, a video to brought to us by Baltimore one-man project DLEIFDEM, sounds freezing! The track presented, "Time Bash", sounds like a very raw, dungeon-synth-infused brand of black metal (think something vaguely like Old Nick but dead serious and much colder), accompanied by panoramas of landscapes apparently filmed from inside a moving train or car, in a poignant homage to natural world as it passes around by us. It is the single from the upcoming album "Wild Eternal", which alternates between black metal and ambient, almost comfy synth tracks; according to Elder of the Woods, the person behind Dleifdem, "Wild Eternal" was written with the continued themes of nature and the decay of humankind", and the alternance between synth and BM hoped "highlight the light and dark elements of the world around us". Our good friends at Realm and Ritual are releasing "Wild Eternal" in tape form on Friday, May 13th; do give it a listen!"
