“Empyreal Sorrow” is a mournful collaboration between Germany’s Forgotten Ghost and USDS project, Snarling Clearing. The 8-song dirge presents both artists at their darkest, a dire and bleak shared vision of all-encompassing entropy. The raw recording style, distorted textures, and sorrowful melodies lead the listener through a blighted landscape; infertile soil that will only yield despair.
