"Avalanche" is a continuation of the more black metal-sounding approach found on "Semaphore", this time with a heavier emphasis on non-programmed drumming and less reverberated and effect-laden vocals; yet with a large dose of tremolo distorted bass.
Lyrics are, as always, set in Deathvoid's universe of riddles and surreal landscapes, with an underlying theme of overthrowing monarchy and colonialism by communicating through a secret net of hidden ciphered messages.
The cover artwork is a heavy edited detail of a painting exhibited at Palazzo Barberini in Rome, photograph taken in September 2022.
