Again, assuming they aren't 16, being sarcastic but meaning the things you say isn't irony. You tend to learn this stuff in Junior English class. But being 16 is a trying time. You see what being 16 is like all the time on TV and then when you get there and see no actually Clone High was not a documentary and you would not be having adult escapades, you're bound to get a little distressed and angry as a result. And what better way to channel that release than through music? You've been doing it for a long time, but now you're serious. You used to be really ironic and silly but those were the old days of, two weeks ago, before you followed diet skramz & quahog_adjacent_emo on Instagram. Now you're evolved.
