I spent days looking out on the sunset
hoping that this feeling would die
Go back to being a little more relieved
and figure out just how I'd get by
I guess it's just a matter of willpower, but
I always find myself spinning a lie
I'll start tomorrow when my bones don't feel hollow
I'm sure I'll just complain and not try

they said everything's changing you better keep up kid
there's no sense in dwelling, the blood rushes to my head
i'm getting dizzy and no one can stop me
just take a drag and lean back; everything is nothing


Looking back at what led me here
looking for ways to disappear
Bring me back to a simpler time when I
wasn't defined by ailments in my life
When doing what you love brings you more pain
Caught up in a cycle of entropy
Wasting away in darkened rooms
Trying to figure out what's left for you

You know you can’t get by if you don’t at least try
But what's a solution, if you sacrifice life
I’ll keep on struggling, but my footings crumbling.
You'll calm my symptoms, while I lose all my drive

I get lost in these deep swells
stumble and fall
in the cascading wells
Keep from drowning
is my only goal
but these gnarled bones
wont let me float.
