Ethereal by Rangga Purnama Aji
This is my second album in 2020 which contain nine tracks of algorithmic/live coded music. Inspired by certain topics such as galaxies, nonphysical realm, meditation, and folklore. Each title from the nine tracks represent the conclusion toward the characteristic of those topics and it’s on Bahasa indonesia, English, Javanese, and Sundanese. The music tried to interpret each titles of the tracks by utilizing specific musical elements in the compositions such as atmospheric timbres, fast/moderate tempo, odd metric structure, etc.
