Lyrics
RAZORBLADE
My eyes are burning
And the desert winds howl
Through the skeletons of a gas station
Nothing's moving now
I've been waiting here for hours
Checkin' out the place
Looks like nobody's around here
Still it's a risky case
I drive down with my senses sharp
Like a razorblade
But for sharpening
It's too late
Feel like being in a deathtrap
As I put gas in the tank
There are bodies stacked in the shop
Wonder if there's a gang
Or just some lonely guy
With poison in the heart
And death in his eyes
He steps out behind me and grunts
With a razorblade
And I know that every move
Will be too late
I say "stop right there"
With my hand at my gun
He comes, I pull and miss
And then the fighting is on
And we're closer than we'd been
To anyone in weeks
Dancing all around the area
With the razorblade
Dancing with death and everything
Is too late
Finally I grab the blade
And he goes down raining blood
Seems like the desert's bending over to him
To get all of the unexpected flood
And I say
"Why'd you start this fight anyway?"
With crazy eyes he answers
"The desert wouldn't allow you to stay"
He grabs my arm and he hands me
The razorblade
And I just look down at him dying and say
"It's too late"
