Lyrics
MOUNTAINSIDE
They came over the hills
And now they're hunting me
For fuel and food
And spare parts from my suit
But I don't care
At least it's not another dull day
All down the dirt road
And through ghost towns
We're racing at top speed
They're closing in slow
I got a fast machine
But not fast enough to get away
Then the shooting begins
My rear window's down
They're bringing the steel rain
And I nearly drown
But then I take the shotgun
And hit one of their cars in the wheel
So I turn around and shout
"How does it feel?"
Some mountains in front of me
They're still at my heels
I race up some valley
Where a woman kneels
And I know
Now they're gonna let me go
So I pull over
And she jumps inside
There's nothing you need to say
When a gang's in sight
And as I speed up again
She lits and drops a pack of dynamite
Explosions behind me
And she says "Turn left
I know a safe place
One where you can rest"
So I follow her lead
Up the mountainside
And she turns to me and asks
"How do you feel?"
