Nhô Buli by Fogo Fogo

Os Fogo Fogo antecipam o novo álbum com o lançamento em vinil do single “Nhô Buli” ft. Ferro Gaita que conta com o tema “Txom Pa Caminhá Version” no lado B.

“Nhô Buli” é uma crítica, em jeito de sátira, à problemática do “bullying” tão presente na sociedade e afetando demasiadas vidas. Um funaná musculado que reforça a mensagem, com a participação de uma das grandes inspirações dos Fogo Fogo, os Ferro Gaita, banda oriunda de Cabo Verde e incontornável quando se fala deste género musical, numa parceria há muito desejada pela banda lisboeta.

Sobre “Txom Pa Caminhá Version”, tal como o nome indica é uma versão da morna inédita que integrará o segundo longa duração da banda e cuja versão dub-reggae surge a público antes do original e exclusivamente nesta edição em vinil; neste tema, os Fogo Fogo exploram uma sonoridade mais introspetiva e psicadélica.

Fogo Fogo anticipates their new album with the vinyl release of the single "Nhô Buli" ft. Ferro Gaita, featuring the "Txom Pa Caminhá Version" on the B-side.

"Nhô Buli" is a satirical critique of the pervasive issue of bullying in society, affecting too many lives. A robust funaná reinforces the message, with the participation of one of Fogo Fogo's major inspirations: Ferro Gaita, a band from Cape Verde and indisputable when it comes to this musical genre, in a long-awaited collaboration by the Lisbon-based band.

As for the "Txom Pa Caminhá Version," as the name suggests, it is an unreleased version of the morna that will be part of the band's second full-length album. The dub-reggae version is revealed to the public before the original, exclusively in this vinyl edition; in this track, Fogo Fogo explores a more introspective and psychedelic sound.
