For our twentieth release we welcome Bristol-based newcomer Rackz282 to All Centre.
Title track DTRU introduces itself with a hard hitting drum pattern. Sparse, chopped up vocal samples rise above an intense rhythmic assault, punctuated by expertly crafted sound design. Elements gradually fall away until we are left with only the enthralling drum pattern, before a switch-up half way through the track heightens the energy levels, introducing a tense synth and hypnotic vocal arrangement.
Second track Safety Mark also utilises Rackz282โs unique approach to vocal manipulation. This time short, melodic bursts of vocals weave around an arresting kick pattern and precisely programmed hi-hats, with atmospheric, industrial bursts of noise lying between percussion hits. The track continues to surge forward with the introduction of bright, looping string hits which weave in and out of a driving synth pattern.
DTRU is available across all platforms from September 4th
