Just Beneath by Rabbit Hole 7
Strange and psychedelic as always, these are deeply meditative low-frequency improvised meditations. Running crystal singing bowls and an array of percussive instruments through a pitch shifter, Rabbit Hole 7 achieve heavy subharmonic serenity that invites the listener to tune out and dive inward for a meditation that's not so much about emptying the mind as it is exploring the parts of it that often remain quiet and just beneath the surface. Long low subharmonic drones mixed with sparse improvised industrial percussive elements. It's introspective music best listened to with headphones or on some great speakers that can handle some real low bass.
