Inner Jungle by Rabbit Hole 7
Inspired by and somewhat designed to aurally mimic the sensation & experience of medicinal psychedelic plant treatments I have been receiving, "Inner Jungle" is equally wild and introspective. Like our own psyche's, it can be as beautiful as it is unpredictable, at times possibly untamable. I wanted to pay homage to my recent psychonautic explorations, the divine experiences I had deep in prayer and meditation, and the wildness in every human heart. These bizarre industrial/electroacoustic compositions sound exactly the way we want them to and not like anything else, we think. We record live percussive and vocal samples to cassette and then warp the crap out of those cassette samples to create new improvised pieces that a friend calls "insane." :)
