Fault Lines by Quiet Arrows
Fault lines are unstable seams of unpredictable outcomes - lines of fracture, friction and force. Where tectonic plates converge, immense force leads to either destruction or growth. The lines of convergence will inevitably crumble and corrode, or they will build and rise upwards.
The stories in these songs tell of similar potential outcomes in the human context. Friction in a relationship can cause it to either falter or grow stronger, conflict between societies and philosophies can cause either violent tension or reshaping growth, inward personal struggle can cause either debilitating despair or renewed vision. These songs are essentially about struggle - both inward and outward. And like fault lines, these struggles can create or destroy.
