Notes:
There was a continuous background buzz (low level) throughout the recording. Don't know where it was coming from (maybe it's inherent with that mixing desk?), and I couldn't remove it without ruining the recording, so I just minimised it where possible.
This is the first Quadelectronic recording by me (Alan Freeman) using a new Tascam DR-05X digital recorder. The "set-up fragment" tagged-on the end of this download was with the recorder level on 100%, which remarkably didn't distort, and sounds cool. It's mostly Michal & Steve, I think. After working out how to adjust the volume I recorded the rest at 25%, and then boosted/adjusted in Sound Forge.

Quadelectronic is a unique event that grew from gigs organised by Chris Conway at The Musician in 2004, with the Freeman brothers and others. The monthly bash is held on the 3rd/4th Tuesday of the month. An improv, jam, event for those that love to experiment and interact in free improvisation, with a focus on electronics.
