This is a story that brings back characters from previous albums, including The Black Hearted Queen of the Blackhearts, BlackJack, .22 Pistol Queen, Tattooed Girl With The Gun, Kerosene Queen, Vaudevillian, Damsel in Protest (and her many names such as Motherfucker) and her nemesis Bad Man, Thief, the amnesiac, Explosion Girl, Sunbeam, Lone Damsel, Voodou Sorceress, The Jailer, etc. New characters are born: Bandit, who later is the protagonist of the country albums and will also be known as Gunslinger of Arkansas (a later album), Widowmaker, and Heartbreaker. LongShot is also born, which becomes my rapping persona.
