Drei Vegas by Purwien & Kowa

Drei Vegas contains songs that are as big as we would like to be. But are not. (Christian 1.69m, Thomas 1.69 ½ m). Or put differently: Just good entertainment for people who approach the world and music from a number of perspectives.

Not Cheating sounds as if Bryan Ferry was still with us. Okay, he is, but when he bites the dust, this would be the song to be played at his funeral. If he had faked his own death at least.

Komm zu Dir just spilt out of us like a premature orgasm and that's what it sounds like. Quick, dirty and with a surprising ending. Purwien & Kowa are persistently claiming that Clint Eastwood play the saxophone outro at the end, but it's more likely that this assumption is based on the overconsumption of still water.

Film would be perfect for the newest action rom-com by Vin Diesel, where to everyone's surprise he plays a tough guy that suddenly turns into a softy. But of course he will never listen to this, which is why you can just imagine a film of your choosing to go with this song.

Bedeutet nichts, just as the title suggests, means nothing.

Brazilian Cut helped Purwien & Kowa process a deep trauma, since both have been walking through life with bald heads – since the young age of seven. They are however not bald all over, which is why the song extensively deals with pubic hair styles in a French accent. Hard to describe; you have to give it a listen. That's what music is for after all.

The Drei Vegas EP is, of course, completed by the cover version Viva Las Vegas. You would be forgiven for believing Elvis Presley's twin was singing along. You can check in the novel Vegas! Vidi! Non vici! whether that is actually true or not. It is the truest, false account of how we recorded this and the other two EPs. You should definitely buy it, because you get an EP for free.
