After Midnight by Psychotic Surge

It's after midnight. The house is quiet... your family sleeping in the near rooms. There is a hallway that leads to a place that you can smoke. Too close to them and too far away.

- What to do besides anti-music?
- Low, jazzy sounds, recorded on a cell phone. There, on top of the bed.
- The sound is muffled by the sheets, it can't be too loud, but it can't be too low.
- Where to put the mic?
- How about the playing machines?

It's a perspective from the machines, of the machines.

This is anti-music.

Unpredictable compositions made with a drum machine, a fm synthesizer and a hawaiian flute recorded on a cellphone.

That full ambient sound, a musical field recording, with it's background noises, over heard conversations and so on and so forth.

Psychotic surge explores the realm of the anti-musical. The grey area between music, with rhythm and structure, and the chaotic.
