Beta State by Professor Chill
Professor Chill’s Brain State series focuses on the oscillating electrical voltages know as brain waves, describing what happens in terms of brain state when we are in varying states of consciousness. The Beta State EP concentrates on the beta wave brain oscillations associated with relaxed but active external attention.
In these releases Professor Chill brings to bear a lifetime of music technology research to explore through music the interface between science and art.

Professor Chill is a longstanding fixture of the chill out scene. His album Dub Archaeology was released in 2018 and he's released material on Banco de Gaia's Disco Gecko Label. You might have seen him at Glastonbury, Boom, Ozora, Anthropos, Samsara, or CTM. His influences include Leftfield, Eno, John Cage, and Deep Forest, an uplifting mixture of gentle groove and tuneful tranquillity.
