Evil Woman is about a mysterious mystical figure.
She can watch over your thoughts and intentions. It may sound cruel, for being skilled at killing for fun. But she is not a tyrant, she has her own sense of justice. There's nothing to fear, as long as you don't cross your path with bad intentions. And make no mistake, she sees through who you pretend to be
She watches your "steps", in the sense of observing who you are and what your choices are. And it can easily manipulate your mind, watch over your nightmares, find out what you fear and use it against you.
The lyrics were inspired by a fictional character, Mary Sibley, from the Salem series.
