Blue lighter, don't make me suffer
prick my skin with pinches pitching me up to make me tougher
the ghost is an automatic force like a child,
self-righteously running you down the shuffle

a reiteration of dominant cues
you're subverting my moves and i crudely bemuse
i don't know what to do when you see me look at you
i stop dead in my tracks and consult my conscience

chances are my character comes into question
i bash my head in on shovels rake my nose and change my inflection
they would have a laugh to see me dance
my way to the devil when i get cramped

i scrawl oil in my drool
i test positive for fuel
your eyes reach up in my head
i get so frustrated

i can't find my way home
receipts litter the side roads
paths are trashed there's no hope
bitterness bracing my chuckle
