Lyrics
Eruption, destruction, earth crushing fragile bone
Jase and Arden follow the din to a forbidden zone
Normally blocked and guarded by knights in black
But feeling they should help, the two head back
A man limps from the darkness, blood streaming down his face
Says there was a cave-in and many men have been displaced
Dark corners of these mines hold secrets deep within
Corruption, exhaustion, our patience wearing thin
Recklessly, Locke drives us deeper with a grin
Corruption, exhaustion, our patience wearing thin
Arden’s training takes over
He tells Jase to stay and aid the man
“I’ll head in deeper, I work for the king
Even if I’m not in Locke’s little clan”
Jase hauls the man back, then he returns
He hears a loud clash, that he can’t discern
He presses forward, into the dark
The change in pressure, terribly stark
He comes across the guards, carrying someone large
They drop a battered Arden, proceed to charge
At once Jase feels rage and something else boil within
Two noses broken before swords can be drawn by the men
Jase’s temper takes over
One on the floor becomes three
“Let’s get the hell out of here”
Jase hauls Arden back to sanctuary
Dark corners of these mines hold secrets deep within
Corruption, exhaustion, our patience wearing thin
Recklessly, Locke drives us deeper with a grin
Corruption, exhaustion, our patience wearing thin
