Devastation sounds by Raido
Devastation Sounds" is an EP crafted to showcase the outcomes of the past few months. Immersed in the mountains of my home country, I experimented with percussion and natural sounds, infusing them with elements of rave and hard techno. The result is a unique fusion I playfully call "Eco-Tek." Drawing inspiration from genres like Gqom, Baile Funk, and IDM, the EP serves as an ode to these music genres, nature, Latin America, and Brutalism.
Raido (Giancarlo Renzi) is a Costa Rican DJ, producer, and designer who finds inspiration in nature, brutalism, and a mix of local and global cultures. Raido's music is hard to categorize, blending experimental nuances with a club-ready atmosphere. Fueled by a focus on percussion and high energy, Raido's work is an ongoing exploration.
