Bapthysm by Pietro Bapthysthe
Bapthysm is the first release from the duo of live coding music Pietro Bapthysthe. This single is a result of two live sessions where all the sounds were generated via SuperCollider and coded with FoxDot and Python. The cover image is also completely generated from code. The base images were picked from the project This Person Does Not Exist which generates profile pictures for unexisting people using neural networks. The glitch style was created using Rafael Tsuha's algorithm named Mimesis, a Processing program to generate new images by combining, pixel by pixel, 2 other images.
