Lyrics
These delusions have illusions of their own
And my conscience is a field that’s overgrown
Forced seclusion to obtain one last grasp of any bit of control
Got a reputation to uphold
Time is lost what day is it I’m crawling right outta my skin
I’m compromised, they’re closing in, gotta get you outta my head
They say it gets easier with time behind your back
But every hour that ticks on by I strive to stay on track
Sinking down on solid ground
Lost and alone with my friends all around
Screaming for help but no one hears
This has been my life for years
These creations of fixations get out of hand
Living day to day afraid is not what I planned
Seems temptations always find a way to sway my belief of wrong and right
Got a knack for acting out of spite
Spiral deeper and deeper into madness
Not much longer I can take this
Paranoia gnaws at my nerves
Running faster and faster to a dead end
How much longer can I pretend
My destruction doesn’t fuel you
(is what I deserve)
