Groove Astronauts by Random Fidelity

Music is more than other art forms dependent on the equipment and environment of the 'consumer' (in this case the listener). Different amplifiers, speakers, rooms, volumes provide drastically different listening experiences. Especially in beatless drone ambient music different equipment can create the impression of listening to a whole new piece. Certain frequencies are covered or disappear, others stand out. Headphones are another wide topic for themselves. So, these are technical aspects, not talking about ears, moods etc.

All of that may be one reason why the name Random Fidelity came up. You throw something out into the world, and you don't know how it will reach the recipient.
