Electric Blue by Phil Keaggy

Contained in these four albums (Brushstrokes, Splash, Electric Blue & Still Life) are songs I created in the late 90s, recorded to ADAT machines, which was the first time I began recording digitally. Prior to these recordings, I was recording to analog 4- and 8-track tape machines.
Besides using acoustic, electric and classical guitars, I used a Langejans acoustic guitar that had midi capabilities and was able to use sampled sounds of keyboards, woodwinds, harp and horns and other interesting sounds. It was a very creative time for me, instrumentally.

I was encouraged by a number of friends to pursue this music. Thanks to Tom Gulotta for the new cover designs. Photo credits also to Sean Hagwell (brushstrokes, splash and still life) and Ian Keaggy (electric blue) .. Thanks very much!
