Lyrics

Water from every town, mixing in my water bottle. I'm an accumulation of everyone I've ever met, and they tell me that I am sixteen soon they’ll tell me I am twenty I’ll tell them thats strange ‘cause I still feel like I am 9, and when I'm 20 I’ll be changing like they do at 16 don't worry I’ll sit back, I know I’m behind and,

When will you find out? There's a price to pay.
It's gonna take some time. Soon they'll find a way.

I bet there's someone who also despises their body, and I could think that they're beautiful out and inside, but there's no way to get through ‘cause I respect their opinion, but I’ll tell them either way because I know that I can’t lie. but they're waiting for a sign and I'm trying to change their mind.

When will you find out? There's a price to pay.
It's gonna take some time. Soon they'll find a way.

And the weapons you hold with you, they will never be enough. You'll find the sounds they tend to echo in your wake. But the months turn to years and the fire stays bright despite the absence of anyone to tend it. And no matter the name it goes by, you know it's just unsolicited advice.

When will you find out? There's a price to pay.
It’s gonna take some time. Soon they'll find a way.
When will you find out?
It's gonna take some time.

Whether it's the reservoir or the city's metal pipes, these small living things, they will kill me in time. And they tell me I'm sixteen soon they'll tell me I am twenty I’ll tell them it's strange ‘cause I still feel like I am 9. And I have no reason to believe myself, still I'm inclined to believe that time will tell.
