Elena is an emerging artist who hails from St Petersburg, Russia. She’s been in love with music since childhood and did a lot of covers in the past. Now she’s here to tell her own stories through her own music. Every time when Elena creates, she takes people on a journey so that they cannot forget it. Where am I? Am I here too long? – Yes! And I was like: “I got it! That’s what I’ve been wanting, that’s what I’ve been searching for!” And the work went on.

Initially I planned my song to sound like it was a goth song. But after a while I decided to stick to a lighter version of it. No screams, no yells, you know. Just my voice expressing the main idea and the violin part that emphasizes the emotion of fatality. I liked the opportunity to put lots of sense into the outro part which I recite like a poem. And the chorus… I’ve been reinventing it for months and months and months. So finally I got a nearly neoclassical song where I was able to put my own twist on. Actually, I really like the final variant of the record. I must say I did have some awkward moments while I was writing the lyrics cause due to the years passed by I completely forgot the conception of the track. But when I started getting into the process, other interesting things came out. And I couldn’t refuse new discoveries. I had to tell about them.
