Temporal MechaniZms by Peri Urban

Recorded between December 2015 and August 2016 in various locations around Scotland.

The temporal mechanizms are tucked away in a room accessed only through a forgotten corner of the museum, un-regarded by history. But those of us with certain “special” interests know their true value.

Most of the mechanizms are analogues of physical objects (given reality only by the Imaginarium) drawn from the long forgotten memories of the failed race of humans. The room celebrates the human obsession with time, the nine panels of the Imaginarium representing dozens of more than coincidental patterns.

If time really is only expressible through the vehicle of consciousness, and if all we conscious beings ever have is one long, endless moment written forever through the fabric of the universe, then these nine precious temporal mechanizms represent one of the few ways we get to control the pace and direction of travel.

Place the transmitter firmly around your ears and be prepared to follow where the mechanizms lead you.
