mu´azzin from Izlan - Nuit by Pepi Amodeo
El mu`azzin es el encargado de recitar el adhan o llamado a la oración. Su canto melodioso durante el llamado es considerado una forma de arte. Sobre el final del registro, se puede oír el llamado a la oración del amanecer. Una de sus frases indica Assalatu khayrum minan naum, “la oración es mejor que dormir”.
The mu´azzin is in charge of reciting the adhan or call to prayer. His melodious singing during the call is considered an art form. At the end of the record, the call to dawn prayer can be heard. One of its phrases indicates Assalatu khayrum minan naum, “prayer is better than sleep”.
