Tree & Leaf by Paul Nagle
Sobering thought: I recorded this music 45 years ago.
Leaf by Niggle is a short story by J.R.R. Tolkien. It's about an artist struggling to find the time for his work and plagued by interruptions. He isn't actually very good and his great work is a peculiar thing, not quite right at all, although in places you will see a beautiful leaf. This resonated with me in my youth and still does now I'm in my 60s.
The album was originally released on YHR (1981) and later, in 2013, released on CD by VOD in Germany. With my usual incompetence I misplaced my copy but Frank very kindly found one and I could hear it again - as you now all can.
The cassette was restored by Anders Peterson (www.ghostsounds.net) who did a superb job considering the state of some of those old tapes.

I think this may be the last of my early cassettes that I put up on bandcamp. Feels like enough of that stuff is here now.
