Familiar EP by Paul Kotheimer
The FAMILIAR EP was recorded at Paul Kotheimer's home studio in beautiful Urbana, Illinois, in 2008-2009. It was released in Spring of 2009 with no fanfair whatsoever, on the hand-made record label. Since that time, though, several of its tracks have become staples in the PK live solo acoustic set and are favorites with literally single-digit numbers of fans.

At first, way way back in the actual 1980s, he used a cassette player and a microphone from Radio Shack. Now he's the proprietor of Pillow Monster Home Studio, complete with lots of musical instruments and recording gear and one actual pillow monster. YAY MUSIC!
