[PAUAU] is the ritual trance and ethnological field recording loop space created by pau pahana. Initiated in San Francisco in 2012, [PAUAU]'s primary technique is to use ripped ritual trance music looped at multiple intervals, playing atop itself and arranged spatially with a homemade monome.

this music is powerful in many different settings, and is an experience that is best shared.
