All of the songs I recorded last year mean so much to me, but this one really has a special place in my heart. Not only is it just such a beautiful arrangement, the song itself is about one of the most important people in my life, my sister Amy. While she’s doing great now, she has struggled with health issues in the past and my anxiety has often made me spiral and imagine a world without her. I wrote this song during one of those spirals. I truly do not know what I would do without her. I’m gonna leave it there, or else I’m gonna start spiraling about it! I hope you find some beauty in this song and maybe it gives you a little push to tell the people you care about how much they mean to you 🧡

Patrick Monnius is an Americana singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio he spent most of his time playing classical music. It wasn’t until his college years that he discovered his love for the fiddle and for sharing his life and experiences through songs. This drove him to move to Nashville and throw himself head first into the world of fiddling and songwriting.
