Alex Lacquement and I wrote this together during an impromptu stay at the Victorian-era Carriage House in Rock Hall, MD.
We were saddened when we awoke to a rainy day on the Maryland Eastern Shore, so we stayed in the parlor and serenaded our gracious host, Malida.

Patrick McAvinue is highly regarded in the world of traditional music. He's an International Bluegrass Music Association award-winning artist, known for his technical skill, versatility, and distinctive approach to the fiddle. In addition to his career in the United States Navy Band, he is a founding member of Baltimore, Maryland’s roots quartet Charm City Junction.
