Credo from Introvert by Patience Dear Juggernaut

I've worked in offices where the cultures were so competitive. (I hated it.) I hated high school and college too. I rolled my eyes at the people there who were all about the money and the cars and that kind of douchebag lifestyle.

I've always been a minimalist at heart: I believe in the simple life.

This song is my reaction to all the yuppie-ness I see everyday. (Hey, I'd choose being a hipster over being a yuppie any day of the year.)

The part I love the most about this song is the two-chord refrain. I was a big fan of Harvey Comics growing up, so I really had to drop that Casper reference there.

Patience Dear Juggernaut is the solo project of Makati-based songwriter and filmmaker Wincy Aquino Ong, who writes, composes and plays the music for all of his songs. Ong was a former guitarist of the indie band Narda and is the guitarist-keyboardist of Us-2 Evil-0. He has also done music for TV commercials, short films and full-length features.
