Note:
Here and Now Performance Art Workshop:
Come join us at Here and Now Performance Art Workshop for an afternoon of experimentation and creativity in a welcoming space
In this workshop we will explore live performance art, creative movement and durational performance through the body as art source and art form. We explore the notion of being present in a space and how that feels to experience and to witness. Performance art can be thought provoking, challenging, funny, silly, powerful, revealing, to use a few descriptive terms to try and describe what cannot always be described.
After the workshop we are inviting participants to stay and join us for our July p(art)y Here and Now live performance art group event, taking place outside in the grounds of Quinn Road Business Park at 5pm.
This workshop is open to all ages, and no prior experience (or knowledge) or required, just curiosity! Breakthrough Dance studios are accessible, with parking outside and on ground level.
