This synth improvisation was played and recorded in Lohja.
On a warm evening, 27th of July 2013, Ilpo Numminen performed live in a small town called Lohja, and somebody recorded the music. Then Ilpo found out that those recordings existed and decided to use those as building blocks of a composition. He remixed and rearranged the recordings and made a 20 minutes long composition which Pai tapes released in cassette format in October 2014. This cassette contains sounds from the Polygamist, a rare synth made by Karl Ekdahl, a wizard of circuit bending from Baltimore.
Instruments:
the Ekdahl Polygamist and Moisturizer,
AS RS-390, RS-280 and 2xRS-210
and in A2 Tiptop audio snare & hats
triggered by MFB SEQ 01.
Recordings were remixed and rearranged in July 2014.
