Anafra by Olivan

Olivan is a Swiss DJ and producer who holds a residency at the much feted Club Nordstern in Basel. Having built his craft through his teenage years, joining the Nordstern family opened up a world of opportunities - performing around Europe and sharing a stage with the likes of Dixon, Solomun, Damian Lazarus, Acid Pauli, Nico Stojan, Lee Burridge and Black Coffee, just to name a few. Now Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan signed him to release this debut EP on their new sublabel Ouïe Circle.

With the Anafra EP, Olivan affirms his ability to create magical moments from a few disparate elements.

The title track is rooted around the percussion - with drums from all over the world were recorded and layered over a dreamy, deep background. In contrast, Panda is more pumping - a thick insistent bass drum sets the tone for a groove-laden bassline and rich, detailed synths and arps.
