Feeding off the cracks in the ever-devolving endless scroll, Oshi Moon is embracing the chaos by crafting hyper referential sounds and finding beauty in the broken and distorted.
As every step of the production process is littered with their fingerprints, Oshi’s world finds a unique aesthetic cohesion; traces of their unorthodox production are found just as frequently in the mastering chain as they are in the beat itself.
This world exists within the LOFS expanded universe, a conglomerate empire run by Oshi and his soul family- a collection of near and dear multi disciplinary creatives who Oshi is seldom seen without.
iOS Patch is the first single from their upcoming project “CATFLAP”. True to form for its namesake, iOS patch acts as an update to Oshi’s previous work, embracing a bold pop sheen amongst the mangled digital rap found in his previous project “cyber_crush”.
Punctuated with synth stabs that echo the UK deep house sound that dominated the radio stations during Oshi’s adolescence, iOS patch effortlessly pirouettes between influences from the late SOPHIE all the way to the emerging online ambient rap scene.
