Astral Throne by Ora

Salt Lake City’s Ora is a one-man operation created by Rory Markham in the spring of 2018. His first full length album Astral Throne plays like a seamless 45 minute doom movement with an emphasis on heavy melodicism. Meant to be heard as one whole piece of music, each song floats to the next between synth driven atmospheres met by the occasional cryptic quotes. Conceptually, the album takes the listener through all facets of space and time through the eyes of a protagonist as he watches humankind constantly destroying itself.
