Paris II by Oracle Sisters
Parisian trio Oracle Sisters return with their second EP - Paris II - released via NY/LA independent label 22TWENTY.
The record reflects a vision of the eponymous French capital converse to the future-nostalgic balm of its sister EP, Paris I, released last summer. Across give tracks, Paris II establishes a raw and romantic mood, with flashes of dissonance punctuating harmonies and melancholy filtering into live recorded soundscapes.
In an imaginary Paris a century from now, Oracle Sisters are the house band in a clandestine bar for dissident artists.

Based in Paris, Oracle Sisters is composed of childhood friends Lewis Lazar and Christopher Willatt, and Finnish musician Julia Johansen. Their debut album, Hydranism, is set to be released in early 2023. Recorded on a remote island during the pandemic, it embraces larger than life ballads, intimate folk songs, table thumping rousers and a vision of the world suspended in a timeless place.
