Duchy Rogowca by Janusz Jurga

Duchy Rogowca is is a unification of unknown, forgotten folklore Janusz Jurga decided to resurrect. This material is a syncretism of people’s tales, shrouded in the vibe of dark, narcotic techno and thick, icky ambient – with the echoing ghost of Burzum soaring above all of it. Everything here is dirty, blurry and illegible, just as the writing in old Uncle’s notebooks, who, on death’s bed, refused a priest’s sacraments. He only whispered – I don’t believe in your God, yet I know I shall be one of the five ghosts of Rogowiec. Who are the remaining four? Even if the old uncle was a schizophrenic alcoholic, his story of ghosts looming from elderly pines still seems to resonate in the forgotten by civilization forests of Rogowiec. Take care of yourself and beware of Strzygonie returning under the moon to their former households!
