Some idiot wobbled above an Adirondack chair in the middle of June with the sun beating down hard, holding a ukulele for dear life, its tiny body slipping under the sweat on his forearm, and strummed out this one's basic chord structure and some of the words. The rest came through a poem written in an office notepad found stuffed in some drawer. Mercenary God at work here. Day Trader God. Head Trader God. Certain demands are on the table. In exchange, a Happy Life. A Fulfilled Life. A Life of Purpose. Just airlift the goat smoke, and we're even.
