exploration (2011) by Onyx Ashanti
This EP is a collection of sonic explorations that occured during the first few months after creating the Beatjazz controller (code named "TRON" at the time). each piece is, as with all of my music, improvised entirely within a live setting. i record myself and those performances form the basis of this EP.
Many of these pieces were created in and around Berlin,Germany between April and July, 2011. the locations were usually places where i could be "one" with the surroundings and the sounds without having to feel the need to "perform", which i find stiffles creativity sometimes.

This is an archive of sonomorphic notes spanning the last 22 years. they chronical the journey through the many fields of electronic music mutation happening around us all. i find it most interesting to go chronologically to hears the various idea trajectories and their life arcs and transformation into offspring idea trajectories. the end of Node:0 begins a digest for further idea propagation.
