I had a tough time even looking at my own reflection
It was like I had done something so horribly wrong
There was no one to make me speak my mind
Lost my trust in my family, they had no clue

All this time, there’s trauma here
It isn’t quite that severe
It lays inside, it’s mostly hushed
It takes the wheel, so I feel rushed

All the while, I’m looking back
I don’t see a catalyst’s tracks
Moving forward, I’m so confused
Not broken down, not feeling used

In clearer memories, I burn with all the staring at me
Somehow all in my head, I still felt the need to give a show
This would make for laughs but I never felt so alone
I blame nobody and I harbour no grudges
